Barney & Friends is a popular children"s television show produced in the United States, mainly aimed at preschoolers. Barney is a large purple anthropomorphic dinosaur (a Tyrannosaurus rex to be exact), who conveys learning through his songs and friendly, optimistic attitude ("I love you, you love me, we"re a happy family...").
